Midwives Associations

ICM has grown from a small group of Midwives Associations in Western Europe to a major Confederation with more than 116 autonomous associations from countries all over the world. By strengthening member associations, ICM advances the profession of midwifery globally promoting autonomous midwives as the most appropriate caregivers for childbearing women.

NZ College of Midwives 12th Biennial National Conference “The rest of the world is still looking for what you have,”

29th - 31st August 2014

Hamilton, New Zealand

13th NZCOM Biennial Conference

The theme of our conference is Midwifery relationships are the bridge to quality. For us this means that the way midwives interact and form professional relationships – beginning with placing women at the centre of care - ensures that each of us finds the bridge to providing quality maternity care in Aotearoa.
