Midwives Associations

ICM has grown from a small group of Midwives Associations in Western Europe to a major Confederation with more than 116 autonomous associations from countries all over the world. By strengthening member associations, ICM advances the profession of midwifery globally promoting autonomous midwives as the most appropriate caregivers for childbearing women.

Afghan midwives Association is a non governmental & non political, independent organization. The AMA aims to promote and strengthen the midwifery profession and the role of the midwife to ensure the well-being of women and families in Afghanistan through representation for and on behalf of midwives and women.
