ICM’s position statements describe the beliefs and principles of the Confederation, along with guidance for its members, with regard to specific situations which may relate to the midwifery profession, maternal and newborn health, or broader issues where midwives or those they care for are involved. Some statements also set out guidance for the Confederation’s own activities.
